UMKC alumnus Weston Womack was arrested by the FBI of Kansas City on Thursday, Oct. 23, after four bank robberies in the KC Metro.
Womack allegedly robbed two banks on Oct. 22, the US Bank near W. Gregory and Wornall Rd, as well as the UMB Bank at 49th and Main St.

Then, on Oct. 23, he reportedly robbed Central Bank, located at 9740 Wornall Road, and finally ended the spree of robberies at Security Bank of Kansas City, located at 5959 Northeast Antioch Road.
Law enforcement officials have estimated that Womack got away with upwards of $6,000.
Charges were filed in the Western District Court of Missouri, where he was charged with four counts of bank robbery.
Womack graduated in May 2024 with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and was part of the Kappa Sigma fraternity, as well as the Golden Key Honors Society and Card Club.
