Taylor Swift’s highly anticipated “The Eras Tour” has been wowing audiences across the nation since it kicked off in February.

Kansas City fans are eagerly awaiting her upcoming performances at the GEHA field at Arrowhead Stadium on July 7 and 8.

The tour, which celebrates Swift’s career through the different eras of her music, features elaborate sets and costumes that transport audiences to different times and places.

From the original country of her early career to the glittery pop of her most recent albums, the show offers a journey through Swift’s musical evolution.

One of the most standout features of the tour is the setlist. Opening night in Glendale, Arizona included a whopping 44 songs with the performance lasting more than three hours.

There are songs included from all 10 of her studio albums, including tracks from the most recently released “Midnights” album. Fan-favorites like “All Too Well (10-minute version) (Taylor’s Version)” and “champagne problems” have also been part of the setlist, but with 44 songs, attendees can bank on hearing many of their top choices.

On top of the previously decided setlist, Swift is also performing two acoustic surprise songs per show. These songs range from older tracks to some of her more recent titles and are played either on guitar or piano. Because these are surprise songs, showgoers can expect them to only be played once during the entirety of the tour. Many fans on TikTok are keeping track of what songs are being featured during the surprise performances to have a better idea of what might be played at their own shows.

For us Kansas City fans, the show promises to be one of the best. GEHA field holds over 76,000 seats and after the nightmare of getting tickets through Ticketmaster, the seats will be filled with fans eager to experience “The Eras Tour” in person.

The show is set to begin at 7 p.m. with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. Fans should expect to arrive early to avoid traffic, and to bypass the stress that comes with parking, it would be best to find a ride or Uber.

Security measures will be in place to ensure the safety of all concertgoers, including bag checks and metal detectors at the entrances. Attendees are encouraged to review the stadium’s bag policy prior to arrival to ensure they are not bringing any prohibited items.
