With Founder’s Week just around the corner, U-News interviewed some local UMKC Alumni. The broadcast Team decided to check in with Mrs. Jill Chadwick. Mrs. Chadwick graduated in 1982 with her Masters Degree in Communication Studies. Through the last three decades, Jill has worked as a broadcaster/producer and has now found her way into the PR Government Relations department at KU Medical Center. Watch and Listen to her story about her life after UMKC. Jill also takes time to give other students advice for their future.
This week Matt Melson took a break from quizzes and spoke to female students about campus safety. Due to the incident that occurred earlier last week, the U-News Broadcast Team hopes that this information will be helpful to other students. If at anytime you feel there is a threat, you don’t feel safe or you see suspicious activity; do not hesitate to call campus police.
