On Saturday, the Kansas City Roos men’s basketball team faced off against the South Dakota Coyotes in a game that ended with a 81-57 victory for the Roos.
Kansas City delivered a performance coded with teamwork and strategy during UMKC Law School Night at the Swinney Center. Standout players like freshman guard Jayson Petty and graduate guard Khristion Courseault helped the Roos clinch the win.
Petty scored a career-high 21 points and went 5-for-6 from the three-point range. Courseault scored 17 points against the Coyotes with 13 free throw attempts.
The Roos play at the Swinney Center on Thursday at 7 p.m. against the University of Denver. Tickets can be purchased here.
