The Kansas City Chiefs trade up in the third round to select offensive tackle Wanya Morris.

The Chiefs traded picks 95 and 217 to the Cincinnati Bengals for pick 92.

A Grayson high school graduate, Morris was a former five-star recruit by ESPN prior to entering college. From 2019-2020, he played alongside current Chiefs offensive lineman Trey Smith in Tennessee.

Morris transferred to Oklahoma in 2021, where he was a backup. He played right tackle in 2022, where he started eight games.

The Georgia product earned a second-team All-Big 12 selection by the Associated Press.

The Chiefs add more depth to the offensive line position after Orlando Brown Jr. signed a massive deal with the Bengals. Morris will battle for the starting right tackle position, as recently signed tackle Jawaan Taylor will be a blindside blocker.
