  The Kansas City Chiefs, on a last-second field goal, win Super Bowl LVII 38-35. 

  After weeks of speculation and predictions, the Chiefs found a way to win against a coveted Philadelphia Eagles squad.

  Super Bowl MVP Patrick Mahomes, on a sprained ankle, delivered one of the best performances of his career. The All-Pro quarterback threw for 182 yards and three touchdowns. 

  Mahomes’ biggest play came on the final drive when he escaped the pocket against a heavy blitz and scurried down the field for a 26-yard run to essentially ice the game and secure a Chiefs’ win. 

  Defensively, Nick Bolton scooped up an irregular fumble from dual-threat Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts for six points to keep the game close late in the first half. 

  While the team only notched one sack, the well-known “Chiefense” kept their composure against one of the best offenses in the NFL. 

  Early on, special teams looked like the biggest issue for Kansas City. Harrison Butker missed a 42-yard field goal on the second possession. However, a game-changing 65-yard punt return by recently-acquired wideout Kadarius Toney helped set the Chiefs up for an easy touchdown pass to rookie Skyy Moore. 

  With all eyes on the off-and-on kicker, Butker nailed the 27-yard field goal to put the Chiefs ahead with 11 seconds left in the game. Once again, the Buttkicker delivered.

  After an offseason of doubt, the Kansas City Chiefs are Super Bowl champions. It’s the second trophy in four years won by the dynasty in the midwest.
