Letter to the Editor

I would like to know why? Why is it that every semester we spend HUNDREDS and HUNDREDS [of] dollars on textbooks from the UMKC bookstore, and we pay even MORE money on access codes for various classes; yet the students are expected to be happy with a microscopic quota of $2.50 per week for printing?

I am a student taking 16 hours, and I literally cannot print off all of my class material, because of UMKC’s brutal frugality. It seems hypocritical to charge each and every student massive amounts of money for classes, books, online codes, parking tickets, etc… and they expect us to be happy with a measly $2.50 weekly allowance for printing material that is mandatory for classes?
