Classes have started and almost all the first year students are enjoying their freedom away from home thus far.

So now that you’re away from home, what is there to do with your time outside of studying? Most of a student’s daytime hours are occupied with class time and studying. So, what can be done during the late night hours in Kansas City?

In other cities there seems to be little entertainment for the youngsters, but there’s plenty to do in this big city. Here are five recommendations:

1. Club Sweat

Club Sweat is the place to go when you like to party, dance and have fun. Friday and Saturday nights from 9:30 p.m until 1:30 a.m, this club offers music, a fun atmosphere, and a mature crowd for the 18 and older age groups.

Club Sweat is at 3101 Gilham Plaza. The cost is $10. Specialty costs include: females, before 10 p.m, enter for $5, males and females before 10:30pm with college IDs enter for $5.
