Pitbull and Enrique Iglesias electrify a sold out Sprint Center

Last Thursday, more than 13,000 ecstatic fans gathered at the Sprint Center for a sold-out performance featuring Latin superstars Pitbull and Enrique Iglesias, accompanied by special guest J Balvin.

After 10 albums, a Grammy and a career spanning more than two decades, Spanish singer-songwriter Enrique Iglesias took the stage around 8:30 p.m. Iglesias performed songs from his latest album, “Sex and Love,” along with other popular hits and favorites.

Iglesias’ on-stage performance brought energy, enthusiasm and charisma On stage, his energy, enthusiasm and charisma made Iglesias’ performance seem as if he was in his early twenties rather than being nearly 40 years old.

He opened with “I’m a Freak,” a fast-tempo and dance theme that focuses on three things; sex, love and partying.
The stage was intricately designed, featuring a long walkway to the middle of the arena with a bridge on each side and a massive screen,, complimented by a fantastic light show and visual effects.

Accompanied by three male dancers and a five-piece band, Iglesias performed songs in both Spanish and English for the crowd who sang along to “No Me Digas Que No,” “Bailando,” “Tonight” and “Hero.”

Halfway through the set, Iglesias and his band left the main stage and settled on a smaller round stage located on the other end of the arena where they performed a cover of “Stand by Me.”

Following intermission, Cuban-born rapper, Armando Perez, a.k.a. Pitbull emerged on stage dressed in an all-black tuxedo and surrounded by six female dancers. The crowd jumped, danced and sang along to “Don’t Stop The Party.”

Pitbull has become an enormously famous performer since winning 26 awards, including a Latin Grammy, one Billboard Music and two BMI’s. He alsoperformed in the 2014 FIFA World Cup inauguration ceremony. Pitbull has released seven studio albums.
After performing songs like “International Love,” “Rain Over Me,” “Fireball,” “Give Me Everything” and “I Know You Want Me,” Pitbull was joined on stage by Enrique Iglesias to end the night with “I Like It.”
